Episode 202 with Anna Paulina Luna.
Tonight on the show Ms. Anna Paulina Luna will be joining Stew and Nunn to talk about her background, her life and what has motivated her to run for the Florida Congressional 13th district where she is looking to unseat former Republican turned democrat Charlie Crist. You can learn a lot more about Anna and her platform at www.voteannapaulina.com
Anna is a proud Hispanic-American of Mexican descent. Anna was raised in the lower-income neighborhoods of Southern California by a single mother. Anna is running to make the United States Congress work for the American People, not the insiders, and is exposing that divisive identity politics is just the lie-fueled engine of the political left.
Anna is no stranger to violence, grief, tragedy, and loss. Anna’s own father struggled with addiction, she lost her grandmother to AIDS contracted from heroin use, and other members of her extended family struggled with addiction and homelessness. Anna was on-campus in high school when a fatal gang shooting took place. She learned early in life that she would have to fight her way out of her surroundings to avoid being trapped in the welfare system and surrounded by systemic violence. So, she did
Anna joined the United States Air Force (USAF) at the age of 19. She graduated from basic training with honors and became president of the Airman’s council, a professional development organization for USAF junior enlisted airmen. A recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal, Anna was honorably discharged with five years of USAF active duty service and one year of service in the Air National Guard. Anna earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the university of West Florida.
After leaving the Armed Forces, Anna turned her love of country into her life’s work. She is one of the most prominent Hispanic conservative leaders in the county. Anna has served as a Director of Hispanic Engagement for Turning Point U.S.A, a non-profit whose mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of Hispanic Initiatives at PragerU and has appeared across conservative media outlets including Fox news Channel, Fox Business Network, NEWSMAX TV, One American news Network, BlazeTV, The Daily Caller, and others. Now she can add Stew and The Nunn to that list as we welcome her on the show tonight.
